Anna University will be released TANCET Application Forms in April 2019. Candidates can be registered online at only. A Bachelor’s degree is necessary for Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test.

  • The state level exam is expected to take a place in 15 cities in Tamil Nadu.
  • The tentative date for MBA & MCA exams are May 19 and M.E./ M.Arch. / M.plan is scheduled for May 20.
  • Nearly 50,000 candidates are expected to apply for TANCET 2019.

TANCET 2019 Online Registration.

The first steps to apply for TANCET Exam is registration. Aspirants must fill in their basic personal and academic information’s to complete the online registration part. Through TANCET Registration, a unique user ID & Password will be sent as SMS. These credentials are vital for successfully completing the form filling procedure.

Steps for TANCET Registration

Step 1:- Visit the official website of TANCET.

Step 2:- you will find a “TANCET 2019” link. click on it.

Step 3:- Click on the “Register Online” link.

Step 4:- Enter your Name, Date of birth, Gender, Email Address & password.

Step 5:- Enter the Captcha code correctly.

Step 6:- Click on the “Submit” button at the end of the form.

TANCET Eligibility Criteria 2019

TANCET 2019 Eligibility criteria varies for different courses. To apply for TANCET 2019, Aspirants must qualify the minimum age criteria of 21 years. Aspirants that who is in the final year of graduation are also eligible to appear.

  • B.A.:- Aspirants must pass B.Tech / B.Arch / B.E / B.Pharma with at least 50% marks (45% for Sc / ST candidates) in the qualifying degree exam. The pattern followed can be 10+2+3 years or 10+3 years diploma+3 years pattern.
  • C.A.:- Bachelor degree of minimum of 3 years with Mathematics as subjects either in 10+2 or graduations level. Minimum marks acquired in the qualifying exam must be 50% (45% for category candidates).
  • C.A. Lateral Entry:- Candidates must have passed Bachelors Degree of minimum 3 years in BCA, B.Sc in Computer Science or Information technology. Minimum marks obtained must be 50% in the qualifying degree examination (45% for the reserved category candidate).
  • BE / M.Tech / M.Arch / M.Plan:- Minimum 50% marks required in the degree examination in the relevant field. Masters degree in the prescribed field of Science or Arts is required. Candidates having 10+2+AMIE certification /10+3 +AMIE certification can also apply.
  • Although TANCET is a state level examination, students from another can also apply for TANCET 2019, but the respective authorities will be determined can be also applied.

Aspirants with Section ’A’ & ‘B’ certificates (A.M.I.E) and other such certificates from professional bodies recognized by MHRD and enrolled before 31.5.2014 are considered to be equivalent to B.E/B.Tech. Degree holders. An experience certificate is to be produced after completion of 2 years of regular full-time experience in the relevant field includes project work.

TANCET 2019 Exam Pattern

For MBA :-

TANCET for MBA course is divided into four parts.

The first sections aim to check the candidate’s ability to identify data and apply the data to business decision from given typical business situation.

Other sections evaluate students passage comprehension ability, mathematics and basic English knowledge in given format are as follow:-

For MCA :-

This paper examines the candidate’s capability regarding admission into the MCA course.

It consists of four different sections namely Quantitative Aptitude, Analytical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning & General computer Awareness.

There is the only multiple-choice question for 100 marks.

There can be some questions from English and Basic Science, though it is less probable. For the given details as below in tabular format.

TANCET 2019 exams for M.Tech or M.Arch and other technical courses decides whether the candidates are eligible for admission to the state level of Tamil Nadu. The question paper comprises of three-part

Part I & Part II is mandatory for the applicants while they have to choose the Part III   subjects at the time of registration.

Part III is chosen according to the course the aspirants wants to pursue. For the given detailed below:-

TANCET 2019 Result

Anna University declares the results for TANCET in the month of June 2019. The tests taker can check their results status from The exams qualifiers will be eligible for admission to MBA/MCA & ME / M.Tech. / M.Arch. / M.Plan degree programs. This year, TANCET 2019 is expected to be conducted on May 19 & 20.
