Introduction of SSC MTS Syllabus

The notification for SSC MTS 2019 exam will be released by the Staff Selection Commission of India. SSC MTS 2019 consist of two paper i.e paper-I & Paper-II Exam dates will be released on the official website for SSC MTS 2019 notification has been released by SSC.

We know that SSC MTS 2019 will be conducted in two phases:

  • Paper-I
  • Paper-II

SSC introduced that a considerable amount of changes in the last years MTS Online exam. We expect that the exam pattern for SSC MTS 2019 to be similar to the last years. lets you have to look a both these phase of examination one by one.

SSC MTS 2019 Exam Pattern (Paper – I)

Paper I of SSC MTS will be conducted online. The dates for paper-I will be declared soon. The Number of the question asked in General Awareness and general English section has been reduced from 50 to 25. It takes an overall duration of completing the paper has also been reduced from 120 minutes to 90 minutes.

Note:- Total time duration of paper-I consists 120 minutes.

SSC MTS 2019 Exam Pattern (Paper – II)

Paper II  of SSC MTS 2019 will be a descriptive paper to test the writing skills of a candidate. A candidate has to write a short easy or letter in English or any other Languages as mentioned under the 8th schedules of the constitution of India to clear the examination.

Subject:- Descriptive

  • Short Essay/letter in English Or any Language includes in 8th schedule of the Constitution – 50 Marks – 30 Minutes

SSC MTS Selection Process

Step 1:- Candidates will be shortlisted for the Paper-II on the basis of their marks in Paper-I.

Step 2:- Paper-II will only of qualifying natures. The cut-offs in paper-I and qualifying marks in Paper-II may be different for vacancies in each State / UT will be fixed at the discretion of the Commission.

Step 3:- Candidates for each States / UT will be finally selected based on their performance in Paper-I and subject to their meeting basic of qualifying standard fixed in Paper-II.

Important point is to be Remember that,

Point 1:- Paper-I will consist of objective type multiple choice question only.

Point 2:- There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answers. Candidates are, therefore advised to keeps this in mind while answering the question.

Point 3:- Paper-II will be in descriptive in which the candidates will be required to write short essay/letters in English or any language includes in the 8th schedule of the Constitutions.

SSC MTS Post – 2019

SSC MTS Exam is one of the important exams that is conducted

SSC MTS 2019 Application Fee

The Application Fee for SSC MTS 2019 is Rs.100/-.Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen category are expected from paying the application fee. In addition to this, the female candidate is also excepted from paying the application fee for SSC MTS 2019 exams.

SSC MTS 2019 Eligibility Criteria

There are three major criteria that a candidate is required to fulfill in order to be eligible for SSC MTS 2019 Exams.lets have a look at all these three criteria:

A candidate is required to be:

  • A citizen of Indians.
  • Persons of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan,Burma ,Afghanistan,Tanzania,Kenya,Uganda,Zambia,Malawi,Sri Lanka,Zaire,Ethiopia and Vietnam.
  • Subjects of Nepal & Bhutan.
  • Tibetan Refugee.

Age:- A candidates must be of minimum 18 years of age and must not exceed 25 years of age as on 01.08.2018. Apart from the pre-mentioned Age requirement that the candidate belonging to reserved categories are given age, relaxation as per government Rules and condition.

Category:- PH (Physical Handicapped) – 10 Year (Age relaxation)

Category:- PH+OBC – 13 Years (Age Relaxation)

Category:- PH+SC/ST – 15 Years (Age relaxation)

SSC MTS 2019 Cut Offs

The cut-off for SSC MTS 2019 will be declared once the examination for the same is conducted and the results have been declared. The cut off will depend upon the level of difficulty the SSC MTS 2019 Exam, as well as the number of candidates, appear for the exam.
