  • Tier – I objective exam will be 60 minutes through Online mode
  • – II objective exam will contain 4 paper, each paper will be of 60 minutes through online mode.

1. Reading Comprehension

Types: passage will be based on any topic, the question is mostly passage based and pick out them out of the passage. Sometimes vocabulary based question asked the passage.

2. Fill in the blanks

Types: Mixing of grammar, vocabulary based question. phrasal verbs, conjunction, preposition, tense, usage in context, confusable words

3. Spellings

Types: choose the correctly spelled word or misspelled word from different words.

Number of question: 0-2 Question

 

4. Phrase or idiom Meaning

Types: phrase or idioms meaning can be asked in a sentence it can also be asked directly.

5. One word substitution

Types: One-word substitution question asked in a given phrase.

6. Phrase replacement / sentence correction

Types: it can be asked in form of tense, subject-verb agreement, article-noun agreement, part of speech, preposition, phrasal verbs, and sentence degree of comparison.

7. Error spelling

Types: tense, subject-verb Agreement, noun, correct part of speech, correct use of preposition, phrasal verb, sentences, a degree of comparison.

SSC CGL Tier II  Syllabus 2019

Those aspirants who cleared the Tier I  exam and would appear for Tier II exam. Tier II exam consists of the following g section-Quantitative Ability, English language, statistics, and General Studies. Each section contains 200 marks and time allotted for each section in 2 hours.

Tier I and Tier II are almost same but the Tier II exam is much difficult to crack. It contains 0.5 marks will be deducted for each wrong attempt. For handicapped candidates,2 hours 40 minutes would be allotted for each section.

SSC CGL Tier III Syllabus 2019

A Tier III exam is conducted in offline mode. Its a descriptive paper in English or Hindi. Its section generally includes essay writing, formal letter writing, informal letter writing etc.

It carries a total out of 100 marks and time allotted is 60 minutes. Tier I and Tier II exam attend compulsory for all SSC CGL Aspirants. Tier III exam is optional. It is attempted only by the aspirants who apply for the junior statistical officer.

SSC CGL Tier IV Syllabus 2019

SSC CGL tier IV exam includes two tests:

1. Data Entry Speed Test

A candidate requires to type a paragraph or no of words on the computer.
Time allotted is 15 minutes.

2. Computer Proficiency Test

In this test is the skill test in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
Time duration of 45 minutes.

This exam is optional. It is to be attempted only by the aspirants who have applied for the post of TA, CSS, MEA, and Inspector.
