NMIMS Management Aptitude Test

NMAT Introduction

NMAT (NIMMS Management Aptitude Test). It is conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), which is the facility to admission into various management courses such as MBA / PGDM in all the Top B-Schools as well as other. NMAT is a national level entrance it is previously conducted by NMIMS and now taken over by GMAC. It is a computer-based examination to be taken at designated test centers. NMAT 2019 official notification is released in June or July 2018.

NMAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria

The NMAT 2019 test itself has no criteria. The test organized and forward to the scores to respective universities or institutions preferred by the test and hence the test has to be aware of the eligibility criteria of the respective institutions that he/she wishes to join.

Some rules apply to irrespective of the institution such as,

  • The candidates must possess a U.G. degree, or must be in the last year of under graduation.
  • The candidates must get aggregate Scores in all UG degree must be above 50%, or the minimum pass percentile, whichever is higher.
  • All papers must be cleared without backlog or arrears before appear for NMAT 2019.

NMAT 2019 Application Form

  • In NMAT apply only online application through its official website.
  • The NMAT 2019 official website is expected to start in late June 2018 or early, 2018.
  • The application fee for NMAT 2019 will be RS. 1800 with relevant taxes.
  • Payment can be made by either of the following ways.
    1. Credit/Debit cards
    2.Net Banking
    3. payment wallets(e.g pay Tm).

Some Steps of filling the Application Form

Step 1:- Create an Account

To create an account on the NMAT 2019 websites that if you’re a new candidate. This requires a valid email-id or a Google or Facebook account.

Step 2:- Login

Candidates must log in to the websites using your mail-id or google or facebook account. Alternatively, an OTP method is also available.

step 3:- Registration

First of all, login, click from the button in top-right and select the registration form.

To fill the credentials correctly & proceed to the next sections.

Step 4:- School preference selection

You can add the institution to which that your scores need to be sent to, in the order of preference.

Step 5:- Review

All the details can be reviewed and corrected.once verified, Click Submit.

Step 6:- Fee Payment

you will be redirected to the fee payment page where you can select a mode of payment. The respective portal will be opened for payment. To complete the process successfully.

Step 7:- Further Processes

Schedule your dates & times of examination attempt.

NMAT 2019 Exam Pattern

In NMAT 2019 will have 120 questions to be answered in 2 hours and which is divided into three sections in NMAT 2019.

There are three sections with a separate time-limit for each of them and a limited time taken to complete the answers in those sections. Once submitted after review then answer cannot be altered and the candidates must move on to the further sections.

Mode of Exam:- The exam is conducted in online mode, which means it is a computer-based test.

Exam Duration:- The exam is held for 120 minutes and separates time is assigned for each section as provided in the above table.the candidates should complete the sections in allotted time only. and also, the sections change automatically after completion of previous sections time.

Exam Paper Type:- The exam paper is objective types.

Marking Scheme:- For a correct answer will get 1 marks is awarded.

Negative Marks:- There is no negative marking assigned for wrong answers.

NMAT 2019 Syllabus

NMAT by GMAC syllabus is prescribed by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAc) each year. It has not seen any major change over the years. The Syllabus for NMAT describes all the important chapters, topics and also the weightage each of them carried out. The syllabus is divided into three sections are as given below in detail.

NMAT 2019 Results

NMAT 2019 Results are released by GMAC after nearly 4 or 5 weeks from the date of examination, approximately released around the third or last week of Jan 2019.

If multiple attempts were made by the candidates, the best scores after scaling are taken as the final score. The score is compared to a standard level due to varying difficulty in each paper.hence the final scores are irrespective of the difficulty in each paper.hence the final scores is irrespective of the difficulty of the paper to the candidates attend.

Also, the scores are sent digitally to the institutions as preferred by the candidates during the registration.

Counseling Procedure

After the publishing of NMAT 2019 results, each institution released their cut-off. If aspirants clear the cut-off, he/she will be called for the further processes. Further rounds of selections include personal interviews, case discussion and any other rounds by individual institutions. These rounds are held only in Mumbai or the respective institutions. some documents are needed during the counseling.

  • Mark sheets as deemed necessary
  • All certificates regarding the previous course (HSC, UG degree, etc)
    Proof of residence.
