Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2019

Management Aptitude Test or MAT is a national level entrance test organized by AIMA (All India Management Association). It is held on four times in a year for admission to MBA and PGDM programs. The registration for MAT 2019 May session has been started from March 1, 2019. The exam is conducted in both online and offline modes. The results of MAT examination are accepted by nearly 600 B-Schools in India.

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2019 Exam Dates

MAT 2019 exam for May session will be conducted in the 3rd week of May 2019 in offline mode and in 2nd week of May 2019 in online mode. Some important dates are discussed is given below as a tabular format:-

Notes:-

  • If a candidate can choose any mode i.e. Paper Based Test (PBT) or Computer Based Test (CBT) or can opt for both.
  • Aspirant opts for both PBT and CBT have the benefit of selecting the additional two management Institution for sending their scores, in addition to the existing option of selecting five Management Institution i.e. they can be selected seven Management Institution in total.

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2019 (May) Eligibility Criteria

  • Graduation in any disciplines or an equivalent recognized degree.
  • Final year students can apply on a provisional basis.
  • Prior work experience is not mandatory.
  • No specific limitation of age.
  • No restriction on the number of attempts.

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2019 Online Registration

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2019 online registration will be released March 1, 2019. Some steps are discussed about this section is given below:-

Step 1:- Visit MAT official website i.e. aima.in

Step 2:- Click on the “Apply” button.

Step 3:- Enter your name, mobile no. , date of birth, email id to register.

Step 4:- Fill MAT Application Form using your personal and academic details.

Step 5:- Upload scanned images i.e. color passport size recent photograph and signature to the prescribed format.

Step 5:- Pay the fee Debit card / Credit Card / Net Banking or Demand Draft.

Step 6:- Recheck all the information and submit the form.

Application Fee:-

Candidates can opt for both the tests i.e. PBT and CBT by paying an extra fee of INR 1100 in addition to INR 1550.

There is no fees concession for the reserved Category.

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2019 Exam Pattern

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) Exam pattern will remain the same for the past year. It will be conducted in both online and offline modes. The pattern of MAT Exam describes the section-wise distribution of question, marks, duration etc.

  • Overall, the paper of exam was moderate difficulty level and an attempt of 105 to 120 questions can be considered as a good attempt.
  • A few questions in Indian and global Environment sections turned tricky and time-consuming.
  • The Data Analysis and sufficiency sections were a bit tricky.

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2019 results and scorecard

  • The result of MAT may be announced in January 2019.
  • MAT scorecard will be available at the official website of AIMA. They will not be sent by Post / SMS.
  • MAT score is valid for 1 year.
  • MAT score is acceptable to certain other institutes for considering the admission of candidates for postgraduate Degree / Diploma program.
  • Nearly 600 B-Schools in India accept Mat Results.
