BITS Pilani will conduct BITSAT 2019 from May 16 to 26 in online mode. It’s a university-level exam, BITSAT is conducted every year for admission to integrated first-degree programmes offered by the institute-B.E., B.pharma. & M.Sc.those candidates who qualify in the entrance exams are offered admission at any of the three campuses-Pilani, Goa & Hyderabad.

The entrance exam duration will be three hours, comprising of 150 multiple choice question divided into four parts. Each question will have four answer options, out of which only one will be the right option. An interesting feature of the exam is if the candidates are able to complete the entire quota of 150 questions without skipping, they can attempt an additional  12 question to score higher.

The online applications form of BITSAT 2019 has been released on January 4. The last date to apply for BITSAT 2019 is March 20.candidates match the prescribed eligibility criteria before filling the BITSAT application form 2019.

BITSAT 2019 – Application Process

BITS Pilani has released the application form for BITSAT 2019 in online mode on January 4. The BITSAT 2019 application process includes steps like registration, the filing of essential information like personals, academics and contact details & uploading of documents and payment of application. To fill the form that it’s important that the candidates complete each step using genuine & verifiable data only.

Steps to Fill BITSAT 2019 Applications Form

  • Registration:- To register, the candidates will need a valid email_id & mobile no.
  • Filling the forms: the candidates will have to fill information related to personal, communication & academic details. The candidates also will have to select three exam centers in the orders to their preference.
  • Uploading of documents:-Scanned images of photograph & signature will have to be uploaded in the prescribed format.

  • Photograph – 4-50 kB(file size) –JPG/JPEG(format)
  • Signature- 1-30 KB(File size) –JPG/JPEG

Payment of application fee:- The candidates can pay the application fee either online or offline. online payments can be made using net banking, credit or debit cards. for offline payment, the candidates have to first download the pay slip deposit the fee in nearby ICIC bank branch. The details of the transaction that has to be entered on the application form.

BITSAT 2019 – Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants need to match all the prescribed BITSAT 2019 eligibility criteria before filling the application form.some of the major points related to BITSAT eligibility criteria is described below:

  • Qualifying Exam:- the aspirants need to have passed 10+2 from a recognized institute with physics, chemistry & mathematics as a compulsory will be appearing for 10+2 in 2019.he/she is also eligible.
  • Minimum marks in qualifying Examination:-The aspirants should have scored minimum 75% marks in aggregate in physics, chemistry & mathematics. the candidates must have scored minimum 60% in each paper.
  • Age limit:-No age limit has been specified as such, but only those candidates who are appearing in the exam or have passed their 10+2 are eligible to sit in the exam.

BITSAT 2019 – Admit Card

The hall ticket of BITSAT 2019 will be available from April 12 to May 13, 2019, only after successfully completing the slot booking process. So, ever candidates are urged to participate in the slot booking process and book their preferred slot.

The BITSAT 2019 hall tickets that will be generated post Successful slot booking will include details like the name & roll number, number of candidates, date & time of the exam, an address of exam center and also guidelines related to the entrance exams.

After downloading the hall ticket cum admit card of BITSAT 2019, the candidates need to ensure the details mentioned on it are correct or else the candidates must contact exam authorities to get it addressed.Log-in to the portal using application number, gender, DOB & email_id. Upon Successful Log-in, the hall ticket will be displayed on the screen. Download and take a printout.

BITSAT 2019 – Result

The result of BITSAT 2019 can be viewed by the candidates at the end of the test in form of the total number of correct and wrong answer. The scores obtained by the candidate will also be displayed alongside the BITSAT 2019 results. The scores reports will also be displayed on the BITS admission website the next day so that candidates can check them, in case they missed it.

Based on these scores, exam authorities will prepare a merit list of BITSAT 2019 for admission. In fact, there will before two merit list – one for & B.Tech programmes, and the other for B.pharm.The admission decision (Iteration 1 results) will be announced online on June 20, 2019.

BITSAT 2019 –Cutoff

The cutoff of BITSAT 2019 is usually the minimum score that a candidate must try to scores at least equal to more than the BITSAT 2019 Cuttoff. For preparing the cutoff, authorities will take into account details like the number of available seats, applications received for admission and scores of the, the BITSAT 2019 cutoff would be institute and course-specific. The cutoff of BITSAT will be released for each iteration or seat allotment round. please note, each cutoff list would have two parts- a simple round specific cutoff and a wait-list cutoff.
